New single sessions at Middle Farm….
Work continues on the next single- all vocals and piano additions now completed. Beth’s first Middle Farm experience!
New single “Mullumbimby Calling” drops…
Our latest single “Mullumbimby Calling” has dropped. The single was mixed by the legendary Kevin “Caveman” Shirley in Sydney, Australia- appropriate, since the single describes a person’s journey from Australia to England and back again- a returning home song, a slice of summer-synthpop, a dreamy tale of love, loss, freedom, discovery & hope! Complete with an evocative video from our very own Harry Duns.
It’s Live!!
The new video for “Standing Stones” has just gone live- you can see it here:-
The new video for “Standing Stones” featurs an entirely new mix by Pete Miles and a video shot on location on Dartmoor, England over August & September 2020.
The video features our friend Sarah of SacredSpiralTattoos
Cinematography & Editing by our very own Harry Duns.
Direction & Production by Harry & Niall Parker
Red blanket by Eloise Sentito at These Isles.
Forthcoming video for “Standing Stones”
So from the end of August to the beginning of October the entire Gravity Machine crew have been hard at work creating a new video for “Standing Stones”. We started with a completely new mix from Pete Miles, then fleshed out a new storyboard- then, out onto the moor on the rare sunny days.
Working with our friend Sarah, we captured wild footage out at Scorhill and Mardon Down, before retreating back to a very dark warehouse on the edge of the moor to capture the band playing.
Harry put together a stunning edit, which goes live shortly- we’ll update with the link when it’s live!
Great review from the Ringmaster…
Any review which starts “Once in a while something comes along which makes you stop what you are doing, halts thoughts in their animation and has you catching your breath” has to be off to a good start.
And so it proves with the Ringmaster’s review of “Lifting Mountains”- you can read it here – https://ringmasterreviewintroduces.wordpress.com/front-and-centre/
“Lifting Mountains” to get airplay on Planet Rock…
Thanks to the team at Pluggin’ Baby, “Lifting Mountains” has been playlisted on the Planet Rock “New Rock” show- Monday evenings at 10pm UK time. Pretty exciting!
Another review in…
“Gravity Machine’s debut album, Red, is cathartic work of art and essential listening for fans of progressive rock and alternative rock”
The Hard Baroquer have just announced a review of “Red”- it’s a very deep and considered review of the album- check it out here!
Check out our new Spotify “Made in Devon” playlist…
With a little support from our label Zyse Records, and a lot of help from Jason Maddocks (cheers dude!), we’ve put together a “Made In Devon” playlist- there’s far more great music made down in these hills than could ever be played, even if Sarah Gozzo’s BBC Music Introducing in Devon and Cornwall was an all-weekend show! We’ll be adding to this as we go along!

Some names you’d expect to see….and lots and lots of others to check out; some friends of ours, some we’ve never heard of (we have now!)….
“They just have their own vibe. Once you’ve heard them, you’ll understand.”
The latest review is now in, from TheProgMind’s Luke Henson:
Luke has written a detailed and perceptive review- a 10/10, including some great observations and reactions.
